Art Portfolio

Outside my client work, I spend much of my time painting in my atelier. My artistic focus lies on semi-realistic naturescapes and abstract compositions, often created with pigments I make myself from stones, charcoal, and ashes.

In my work, I’m fascinated by the serene, almost spherical stillness and strength we can still find in wilder, untouched places. Misty forests, rugged mountains, and bright skies stand in contrast to our busy, urban, and overstimulated lives.

Growing up at the foothills of the Bavarian Alps, surrounded by mountains, lakes, and forests, continues to influence my work. While painting close to realism, I like to shift toward a slightly abstracted, atmospheric quality that makes a motif feel closer to a memory or a mood than to a literal representation.
