As part of a redesign of the bar area in a climbing gym, I was asked to create something that would support a more cosy, living room like atmosphere.

My idea was to design enamel mugs, which are commonly used by climbers and outdoor enthusiasts, for example on climbing trips. I drew a wraparound illustration and used them as small plant pots for decoration.

After this project, I continued the idea with other illustrated mug designs, including cats and dogs, which I sold through my Etsy shop and at art markets. I have received photos of my mugs from some of the craziest places around the world.
